Writer's Digest magazine is now accepting entries for its Popular Fiction short story contest. Enter your short story of no more than 4000 words in one of the following categories: Romance, Mystery/Crime Fiction, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Thriller/Suspense or Horror. Deadline is November 1, 2006. The grand prize is $2,500 cash, $100 worth of Writer’s Digest Books, plus a manuscript critique and marketing advice from a Writers’ Digest editor or advisory board member. Entry fee $12.50.
